A new membership based fitness bootcamp has opened in Eldersburg, and is housed in the new JACT Sports Complex, offering a fun & effective workout program for local Carroll County residents.

Extreme Fun & Fit Bootcamp is owned and operated by Mac Cassity and is housed in the JACT Sports Complex in Eldersburg at 1332 Londontown Blvd. It is a monthly membership based fitness program and members may attend as many sessions as they wish per month, currently offered between 5:30am and 10am Monday through Friday. The workouts are a mixture of bodyweight exercises combined with some fitness band and medicine ball drills that are designed to challenge each member, help them lose fat and build muscle, and ensure they have fun while doing it.

“Nothing beats a killer group workout.” Extreme Fun & Fit owner Mac Cassity says. “At any time, you may be slapping fives with your partner while doing pushups, or passing a medicine ball back and forth to another while shuffling down the field, or being cheered on by someone else to finish the rest of a set. These workouts are about each of us reaching our best, and helping each other to get there at the same time.”

No specific starting level of fitness is required, but the workouts are designed to increase in intensity. Each lasts a little less than 1 hour including warm-up and cool down and all equipment is provided. Participants must be at least 18 years old.
